Paul Bibbins

People say that there's nothing musically different being produced in Rock music these days...and that everything sounds the same. That is not the case with Paul Bibbins; his brand of Rock ‘n Roll music is different, unconventional, refreshing…..
Paul is a guitarist/song writer and independent musician, originally from New Orleans, but currently living in Dallas as a result of the “mighty winds” of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Paul is a solo artist, and he has been playing guitar and writing songs for decades. He plays high-energy, Jimi Hendrix-styled, original guitar Rock ‘n Roll.
The lyrics of Paul’s songs never come from personal experiences…as is normal for most song writers. He says, “If I tried writing a song about some personal experience or life experience, it would probably sound contrived or forced. As a result, listening to the lyrics of my songs won’t tell you much about me, my beliefs, or my thought processes.”
On 11/9/24 Paul released his latest musical effort. It’s a 9-song album of all original music called ‘Disenchantment at a Distance - REDUX’. The album is available on all the streaming platforms. This album exemplifies the heights that Rock ‘n Roll can still reach if done with focused musical vision.
All nine songs on the album were written, performed, and produced by Paul. Four of the songs were released by Paul on a ‘Disenchantment at a Distance’ 4-song EP in September 2023. His 2024 ‘Disenchantment at a Distance - REDUX’ album is the completion of what Paul started with the 4-song EP in 2023.
Paul plans to “fire up” his digital recorder in the coming months, and get down to working on new songs for a new album!
