Brief info
Paul Ariss is a rock musician from the United Kingdom. He began recording his own songs after teaching himself to play basic chord patterns as a calming therapy in a period as a carer for his father. Gradually he released his first song 'Blinded' which he took into a studio with musicians and put it onto Soundcloud in 2016. The song was chosen as Song of The Week on Radio Airplay based in New York. His second song 'Your Truest Faith' was chosen as Track of The Week on Blues n' Roots Radio and reached the semi-final of the UK Songwriting Contest.
Working with producer John Kettle, co-producer of two number 1 albums with The Lathums and member of folk-rock band Merry Hell, Paul now has ten songs on Spotify and all major streaming platforms and attention to his music continues to grow with attention from music bloggers, radio playlists, podcasts and via his own YouTube channel.
On his latest track, 'The People That We Were' he has worked with vocalist Chloe Pownall on a song specifically written for her, and was performed at the Hells Fells festival in Cumbria UK earlier in August.
