Jai

Jai comes from the small town of Beaumont, Texas, with a heart full of love and a story rooted in faith, healing, and authenticity. She began writing music in 2019, but it wasn’t until 2021—after her grandmother’s transition at the age of 95—that she released her first single. Her grandmother was a guiding light in her life, teaching her that nothing amounts to anything unless God is included.

Jai's favorite scripture, John 13:34, “Love ye one another,” serves as the foundation of both her life and her music. Her sound is centered around love in all its forms—self-love, loving others, loving after being hurt, healing through love, falling in love, and even falling out of love. She believes that authenticity within herself allows her to be authentic within her sound. Every song she creates reflects true testimonies, as her use of music is a form of therapy to grow from her life experiences.

Jai explained her motivation for making music when she said "we are all going through something, and if my music can help another beautiful soul remember who they are and the power they hold within, then that is my purpose and the reason I continue to create". Her favorite saying is, “Always be you—only you know how.” In a world filled with opinions, social media noise, and outside pressures, we often lose sight of who God created us to truly be. Jai's music serves as a reminder that real emotions are valid, healing is possible, and expressing how you truly feel is not only okay—it’s necessary.
