Interview With T•I•M•E
Have you always been interested in music? What is your story and how did you start making music?
No, In fact i had no interest until 2 and a half years ago.
What is your story and how did you start making music?
I didn’t like my life as it was so I started making some hard changes. In my pursuit of self improvement, I got into astrology. I discovered I had a destiny that spoke of changing the world. This was incredibly shocking seeing That’s also what I’ve felt since a Little boy. I started following its guidance. 2 and half years ago I found out I could sing and suddenly knew how go play guitar. Mind you I’ve never touched a instrument in my life. 4 months ago I finally got my guitar. What do you know…. I really could play.
What are you working on now?
I’m always working on a song, music, recording, writing, is kinda an obsession. I feel compelled actually.
Any future releases we can look forward to?
I have a ton of songs, I’ve never released, music waiting fit lyrics. 100’s of melodies I just never used yet
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry?
To use it as a way to connect with people. Make some badly needed changes in this world.
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
Losing my brother (he is still alive but suffered a nasty stroke and is still recovering. I lost my mother a year ago just this past 13th. Homeless the last 11 months. Which changed a month ago. Staying focused through it all, even on the days I hurt the most…. or cold, tired, wet, picking myself up off the ground everyday going no where…
How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head and then write the other music for it or what’s Your typical songwriting process?
Pen pad start wilting, usually whenever my devices are dead staying busy then put on a drum loop and record what comes out. Go back over that record
List some famous musicians currently on your playlist?
Stone sour, Kansas, the Eagles, pink, green day, disturbed, too short, emimen, Sheryl Crow, Weezer, no doubt, blink 182, sugar ray, plain white is, weird al, Madonna, 2pac, stone temple pilots, stray cats, pink Floyd, queen, areosmith metallic.
What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
Man I was going no where doing nothing fast. I was so lost. Music helped change everything.
Would you have any advice for young people wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Do you! No matter what that is. Believe in yourself. Never give in. And go get it.
If you could change anything about the music industry, what would it be?
It’s focus on looks. Music is about the feelings it can draw out and connect people. It’s not about bouncing butts, flashing cash, which is all that anyone(broadly speaking) seems to see anymore. Could you imagine what videos like Beat it, or Thriller might have been had they been made today.
How do you feel about originality?
Is there any other way to be?
Is there anything else we should know about you? or Something that you would like to add?
I seriously care about this world and care about us. And we have walked blindly enough, it’s time we start go over our beliefs, how we think about things, what we teach the next generations. It’s time we accepted that certain things have truths behind them that people want to turn a blind eye too… with the way we grown in such a short time, we need to update our ways of thinking. On a broad scale. We need to be better. I believe we can be so much better, if we just try.
