GLACER MAGAZINE
Brief info

Quataisha is a 29 year old musician from Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the United States. She identifies as pansexual and makes music under the name TaDenn.
It's been almost a year since TaDenn started writing music as a way to deal with the depression she was going through but the music making process has become a life changing experience and a true love of hers. Her excitement about the creative process has fueled the engagement to writing and producing songs on her own in the last 3 months. So far the results are strikingly amazing as we really enjoyed listening to her latest release "Dance 4 me". It's a master piece we'd love everyone to discover by tuning in to The Mark And Wayne Show on Glacer FM every Sunday starting at exactly 10:15pm EST.
TaDenn told us she initially encountered some challenges including negative comments and reactions towards her music but it didn't stop her from following her dreams. The difficulties rather encouraged her to keep fighting for her music and this makes us love her more.

Interview With TaDenn

Have you always been interested in music? What is your story and how did you start making music?

Yes, but not in the way that you’re asking I was interested in music as a fan I love listening to music when I clean, cook, shower, drive basically all the time. But I became interested as an artist almost a year ago because I was going through depression and wanted to write my feelings knowing they wouldn’t be heard by anyone. But I let family talk me into making it into songs so here we are.

What are you working on now? Any future releases we can look forward to?

Yes, I actually have a bunch of things I’m working on and collaborations as well I’m very excited so listen out for me.

What Is Your Ultimate Goal in The Music Industry?

My ultimate goal is to perfect my sound and my vocals. And make it big to support my family

What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?

My biggest challenge so far is getting my voice to do what I want lol and the bad comments it takes time to remember you’re not always gonna be everyone’s cup of tea.

How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head and then write the other music for it or what’s Your typical songwriting process?

My typical songwriting process is I like to listen to beats and it has to call out to me like I have to feel the flow and all and if I like it, I write my song to it.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

I think the internet has brought fans closer to their idols especially since everyone has social media and they are getting more into posting videos these days and I think it makes getting fame a little easier because promoters can look on music apps to find new artist or social media.

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?

Before music I was looking into becoming a chef. My mother was a chef and I wanted to follow in her footsteps.

Would you have any advice for young people wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Yes, a big thing for me is if you make a song and u like it and every fiber in you tells you that it’s good and you love it then you put it out no matter if you get bad comments or reactions.

If you could change anything about the music industry, what would it be?

If I could change something it would be the process of getting discovered. It takes to much to get heard.

How do you feel about originality?

I believe being Original is the only way to be, nobody wants to be called a follower.

Is there anything else we should know about you? or Something that you would like to add?

Yes, I’m new to the music world so critiques are appreciated because I’m still learning.
