Interview With Lil Breezie Labree
Have you always been interested in music? What is your story and how did you start making music?
Hello! I have always loved a variety of music! I grew up listening to a very diverse selection of music. We would play jazz and dance music mostly in my earlier stages of life. I would also give everyone’s music a chance and just enjoy it. I started getting into my own favorites as I grew up. I loved to dance! So, any music you could dance to, I enjoyed. I was introduced to music first through my parents and the radio. Later in life I learned to rap from my brother. I met a lot of artists and continued to make music a huge part of my life.
What are you working on now? Any future releases we can look forward to?
I just released “Holla” which was released January of 2026. I plan to make a video to my most recent songs. We are also coming out with a product launch. I will be releasing my first solo cd of the singles I have been putting out. Therefore, the listeners can have a traditional cd with all of the songs included. In the future , I do have some surprise releases in the making, but those may not be out for some time. We will release those details later. I am just preparing for live performances and promoting my store as well as the music.
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry?
I believe I have astonishingly achieved my goals in the Music Industry so far! I am still so thrilled to have these opportunities to succeed and be part of the entertainment. I suppose my goals would be to reach more listeners, get feedback, and to be successful. I would like to be celebrated and understood while reaching a massive amount of success. I also want to make people smile , to inspire, and to have follow through!
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
My biggest challenge has been actually to get on the radio. It seems money can’t buy everything. Sometimes you can pay and put in the work and still not get on the radio.
How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head and then write the other music for it or what’s Your typical songwriting process?
Writing music can be done in various ways. Sometimes I’ll just think of some catchy lyrics and go right those down. I will just set in the studio and build a whole song and concept out of that. I have also at times just been given a subject and I will listen to the beat and write what seems relevant and original . I like to be authentic and have a sense of humor. As I go through life I will just random think of punch lines and write those down in case I decide to put something with it later. Some songs just become poems I have.
How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
I believe the internet gives us more of a reach to connect with people and to actually get music and messages as well as art to viewers and the community. It connects everyone and doesn’t exclude people. It serves as much more than a canvas or a billboard.
List some famous musicians currently on your playlist?
Nowadays, I listen to Bone Thugs & Harmony in which I do have a song with Layzie Bone released last fall. It is titled “Good Game”. It is surprisingly uplifting and it’s such a blessing to be a part of that. I also listen to artists such as Ouija Macc, Dark Lotus, Ghostemane, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Doggystyleeee, and Eminem.
What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
Before making music, I was working on becoming a dancer and dreaming of being a business owner.
Would you have any advice for young people wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Yes! I would advise younger people to start a bank account, protect their money, be financially smart, and not impulse-buy. I would encourage them to be creative, serious but light hearted too! Tell them to be authentic and find their sound and to not be afraid to get creative. They should really think about how they want their life and career to be steered and do what aligns most with their purpose. If they are just finding their purpose enjoy every moment and make the best of the situations and opportunities. You may not get what you want at first but keep trying. If it isn’t working don’t force it instead discover what else you can do to work on your ultimate goals and enjoy your life.
If you could change anything about the music industry, what would it be?
I have never thought about that and that isn’t my aim!
How do you feel about originality?
I feel originality feels satisfying and authentic.
Is there anything else we should know about you? or Something that you would like to add?
I appreciate everyone who has helped me along the way in every way beyond words! I am truly amazed with the power of friendship! I meant everything I said and I did what I said too! Thank You! I am also disgusted at anyone who was opposed to a better way of life and people being successful! Thank You for this interview! I wish all of you success and happiness! Find a reason to smile and music you love!
