He started his studies at the conservatory school at the age of 12, studying the primary cycle of music, and later started at a school for instrumentalists, the school for the orchestra and band of musicians in my town in Inca-Mallorca. Jaime Ig Ribas  spent about 5 years playing in the band and attending his first years of learning, both in music theory and as an instrument under the academic regime of the classical music conservatory of the Balearic Islands, a musical training that was taught at said school.

As a complement to his technique with the wind instrument, he began as a singer on the tenor string in a choir in the town of Inca, passing through various choral groups over the years, participating in numerous events of great works of the classical music, sacred music and also some modern works,.. over several years. In 2003 he began my studies as a professional instrumentalist in a branch of the l'Aula de Barcelona, a modern music school in Mallorca, obtaining the graduation from the Berklee College of Music.

In 2013 he began his personal training stage, in which I came face to face and alone with the instrument and its true essence, its capacity, ..., a cycle in which he began creating his own music and where he has increased his mental capacity with the sound, the body and the instrument. Jaime Ig Ribas has improved his projection to the tenor saxophone, perfecting the sound, effects of the instrument, the super highs and harmonics, the capacity for improvisation, and also to creating his own Jazz music project, A New Jazz!
