Brief info

We're inviting everyone to read up on this amazing metal band. Burdens Within is a band from Crawfordsville, IN, USA. They where formed in 2010 by Ryan J. Kline (Bass) and Mike Riley (Guitarist) when their previous bands came to an end. Fast forward through a lot of years and member changes, the dust had settled, and they are back with a new line up and a sophomore album/EP. Onism—The awareness of how little of the world you’ll experience.
With 3 new members on board to give a new sound and a new jump back into the music world, they plan on hitting the ground running. New on lead vocals they have Levi “Omee” Omundson, bringing his writing skills and passion for music. New on Lead guitar and back up vocals they have Ray Alanis, A seasoned and well rounded guitar slinger. And finally, new on the drum kit they have Brian Hickey, who brings a thunderous rhythm.

Have you always been interested in music? What is your story and how did you start making music?

Yes , i have always been interested in music. When I was a kid I would sit and listen to my dad play guitar. and thought it was the coolest thing ever. once I got older, i really wanted to play drums but i couldn’t get my parents to get me a kit. so after a while i ended up buying me A Harmany Strat starter bundle and started learning everything I could learn. .

What are you working on now? Any future releases we can look forward to?

We are Currently working on about 14 songs. If everything goes as planned we are hoping to drop and EP around April or May.

What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry?

Ultimately the goal of the band , is to play our music full time. To be heard by as many people in the world we can get in front of.

What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?

Learning the ropes & finding the right members

How do you go about writing a song? Do you have a melody in your head and then write the other music for it or what’s Your typical songwriting process?

We come up with a riff or structure . and build of it.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

It has helped a lot of bands get heard that otherwise would probably have not off .

Breaking Benjamin, Seether, Korn, Metallica

What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?

A little bit of everything. I am a Jack of all trades master of none.

Would you have any advice for young people wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Just be smart. if it sounds to good to be true, it is. Find a band that has been in the business for a while and asked questions.

If you could change anything about the music industry, what would it be?

Change the way venues operate, to where they pay the bands, and the bands not have to buy on or buy tickets. etc.

How do you feel about originality?

I think it is everything ! If you Are not being original you are really just kinda wasting our time.

Is there anything else we should know about you? or Something that you would like to add?

We are planning on Hitting it hard in 2022, be on the look out for us !
