Deyan

Deyan Grudov Kaloyanov is a musician from Balsfjord, Norway. He has been in the industry for over 35 years and still maintains a steady flow of creative music that continues to push the boundaries of “real stories for real people songs”.
Deyan has already released a couple of hits but despite having a successful career, his passion keeps growing.

In his early years as an artist, Deyan had been involved in many projects, tours and gigs. His charm, charisma and communication skills enabled him entertain audiences in different languages defining the songwriter and producer that he is today. He performed on big stages as well as small venues with full standup entertainment and music "live by request."

Throughout his life and career, blues and rock music have each played influential roles in shaping his musical sensibilities.
In the last 15 years, Deyan lived in a country side not far from Tromsø in the north of Norway. This was the most challenging part of his musical journey as he experienced so many hurdles in his evolution as an artist. To overcome these hurdles, he shifted his mindset dramatically from being a young guitarist to a point where he could attain the maturity required for him to excel. Initially the aim wasn't mastering his craft but rather showing off to people on how fast he could play. At the time, it was all about speed and lots of notes unlike now with the tons of experience that he has acquired. Deyan has developed a lot of maturity as a composer, songwriter, guitar player and singer. He keeps making great music and appears to have no intention of stopping.
